… Whodathunkit?

Where I grew up, that was an actual word, along with ‘yetyet’ and ‘fixinta.’ So whodathunkit (translation: “who would have thought it was possible”) that a kid from small town west Texas could get the privilege to deliver a TEDx talk?

I still think they got the applications mixed up.

It takes the official TED organization a few weeks to polish up the video, so I’ll post it when it’s available (they’re ‘fixinta gitonnit’). In the meantime, my sincere thanks to the ASU TEDx team, who made something ridiculously hard look ridiculously easy. Getting everything organized and executed for a TEDx Talk, especially since the last one at ASU was over 9 years ago, is roughly equivalent to getting a sack of wet cats to line up and sing ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’

Personally, I’d prefer trying to organize the wet cats. It’s probably easier.
