Randy Green is a proven technology leader, speaker and consultant, with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. Randy’s background and experience make him an effective, impactful, sought-after speaker and consultant.

As a speaker, Randy uses his experience in industry to motivate and encourage ethical business behavior. His experience with the Enron bankruptcy and the collapse of Arthur Andersen gives him a unique perspective on how and why ethical failures happen. His message, entitled “Ethical Bankruptcy: Gradually then Suddenly” delivers a powerful message to students and professionals on why ethical behavior is so important, and what can happen when you fail to ‘do the right thing.’

Mr. Green recently retired from his role as Chief Technology Officer at Simmons Bank, a $27B regional bank, where he was the architect and driving force in implementing a ‘cloud-first’ strategy for all Bank systems. Before ‘getting a real job’ in the financial services industry, Mr. Green built and led technology consulting practices at firms such as Arthur Andersen, Hitachi Consulting, Grant Thornton, Slalom Consulting, and Alverez and Marsal. In the leadership role, Mr. Green led engagements for companies of all sizes, from defining technical strategies for small start-ups, to serving as the Program Manager for the global implementation of SAP at one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies.

Before he retired, Mr. Green decided to use his experience to promote his passion – the importance of ethical business behavior. His ‘Ethical Bankruptcy: Gradually then Suddenly’ lecture was initially developed as a training class for Simmons Bank – where it is now a required class for all Associates. Since then, he has presented the lecture to college classes, professional services firms, business groups, and other organizations, with the singular goal of helping people avoid that first small mistake – that inevitably leads to a disaster.
